"stuff" happens... dont worry it all happens to me!

And I thought yesterday was pretty bad! To my surprise things just got worse today. I was going home on my lunch break today and got into a wreck! Have no fear though, the other lady involved and I are both unharmed. However, our cars didn't fare so well. Neither of us were traveling very fast but the impact apparently broke my axle and my poor car had to be towed away :( tear tear... The other vehicle was able to be driven away with some minor damage. It was my fault and I got a pretty hefty ticket and 4 points. Hopefully if I go to the court date the ticket price will be lowered and only 2 points will be coming my way. Now the real fun begins: bumming rides and borrowing cars until I can get mine fixed, paying out lots of money that I don't have, and oh the ridicule my family and husband will give me! Good times, good times. But at least God protected me and kept me safe and let me have people in my life to take care of me when bad things happen. Speaking of which, now I would like to take the time to thank my husband for coming to my rescue and taking me to get some lunch and then back to work!

Oh the craziness that is my life!

Yesterday was an absolutely crazy day that I didn't expect at all...

It all began well because I had taken the morning off of work to go to a dentist appointment at 11 and have cable hooked up between 8 and 11 . So I had all morning to rest and take my time. Well I get up and take a shower and get half way ready for the day. My husband came by my house (its a long story for a later post) to eat breakfast with me and see me before he went to work. Well about 8:15 we hear a banging on the door and then it sounds like it unlocks! My husband goes toward the door when in walks the maintenance people from the apartment complex I live at. They start telling us that the woman that lives below me has water coming through her ceiling! So they come in and totally take over my bathroom to try and fix the problem. So all of this is making my husband run late for work so he has to leave pretty quickly. On his way to work he proceeds to call me and tell me that I have a flat tire! OH JOY! So i put on some old clothes and have to change my tire all by myself. Right when I finish the cable guy comes and says "Oh you changed that by yourself? I could've helped you if I would've known." UGH jerk! So now that I have all these people working in my house I need to leave to go to the lovely dentist so they can tell me that I need to floss more and make my gums bleed, but at least I have cable now! I will forever be an incurable optimist which did help the rest of my day go a little better.

here goes nothing!

Ok. So needless to say this is my first blog and my first post! YAY! So if I make a few mistakes please forgive me. I guess this first post will just be to let who ever reads this know what it's all about. First and most importantly the plan is for this to be totally anonymous. So if you read this and figure out who I am just kindly let me know and please keep the info to yourself! Thanks! Secondly I will pretty much use this as a therapeutic outlet since my life is a complete soap opera. This seems to be way more economical than laying on a couch and telling a stranger my deepest thoughts! Thirdly this blog will be totally transparent. Meaning that I will say whatever is on my mind at the time and will answer any questions that anyone wants to ask.

As you may already know from the name of the blog this will be a mix of happenings of my life, some of other people's lives (names will more than likely be changed), how I feel about current events, maybe some jokes and some other randomness! I will try to post and update things as much as possible which shouldn't be hard since my job does have quite a bit of down time. (I know I am lucky!!) I won't give out too much background information on myself right now except for that I am from the south (US) so somethings I write may be a little southern sounding. And being from, what we like to call the "bible belt" I am also a very strong believer in God and his son Jesus Christ. I am not at all apologizing for this, however, because I am very proud of where I come from and it has made me who I am!
